8. Easy to Catch Fish are Easy to Catch

In this Method, the Response Varies Greatly Depending on Whether the Bass is Active or Low, and Whether they are Smart

I will explain the difference between easy-to-catch bass and hard-to-catch bass with examples. (Assuming clear water, Appropriate water temperature, fine weather, no wind, calm water surface, and The bass is directly below the water surface and facing 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock)

1. Highly Active, Easy-to-Catch Bass (Easy Bass)
For example, in the case of a highly active bass that has never been caught by an angler, even if the trajectory of the voluminous lure is a little high, the predatory instinct will be stimulated, and the bass will swim vigorously to the landing point and eat the lure the moment it hits the water. In this case, for such a bass, it is enough to make look as if a dragonfly is flying, so there are many types of lures that can be used.

Chatterbaits, swim jigs, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, rubber jigs, etc, with increased skirt volume. Or a lure that gives a bass illusion of a flying dragonfly.

It will be easier to learn this method if you start with this easy-to-catch bass at beginning.

2. Low Activity, Hard-to-Catch Bass (Smart Bass)
In the first cast against a smart bass just below the surface, with a trajectory about a foot above the surface, the bass does not react. On the second cast, when I threw the lure with an ultra-low trajectory that caused ripples on the surface of the water due to the wind pressure of the lure, the predatory instinct of the bass was stimulating. At this time, when the predatory instinct of a bass is stimulated, it swings its upper body left and right and makes a gesture of chasing the flying lure with its eyes.

However, no matter how much the predatory instinct is stimulated, if the next landing fails, a smart bass will instantly see that it is a lure.
Therefore, in this method, the landing sound is also one of the important elements. So, which is more important, showing the trajectory of the lure to a bass or eliminating the landing sound? It's much more important to show a bass the trajectory of the lure.

In the case of highly active and easy-to-catch bass, just gently landing a lure on the surface of the water is enough to stimulate the predatory instinct.
However, when there is an angler in front of a smart bass, even if the sound of a lure landing in the water is turned off, nothing happens. So the first thing need to do is show a bass the trajectory of the lure to stimulate their predatory instincts. This is more important than anything else in this method.

Also, even if the trajectory of the lure is shown to a bass and the predatory instinct is stimulated and the lure lands on the water successfully, the bass will see through the lure unless the depth and retrieve speed are matched to the bass.
So, unlike 1, there are fewer types of lures that can be used.

As you can see, there is a big difference between easy bass and smart bass in terms of how they react when they see a lure and the types of lures that can be used.

Bass Caught Many Times by Anglers Will Become Smarter

If a live earthworm falls in front of a smart bass, if it can see the angler, it will mistake it for a plastic worm and not eat it. Also, even the sound of a 1-inch plastic worm falling on the surface will run away.
I devised this fishing method to catch such smart bass, but there is no doubt that if you learn this method, your fishing life will be better than it is now. This is because smart bass that used to throw plastic worms and give up if were not caught can now be caught with spinnerbaits and buzzbaits if this method is practiced.
