2. Ultimate Soft Presentation

When a Dragonfly Falls to the Surface of the Water, it does not Make a Loud Sound Like when a Lure Falls

In bass fishing, there is a concept called "match the bait" that reproduces the shape, color, and movement of bait with lures. I think that includes reproducing the sound that creatures such as dragonflies make when they fall on the surface of the water. In the headline, I wrote, "When dragonflies hit the water, they don't make a loud sound." What an angler should do is either muffle the sound of the lure landing as much as possible or produce a soft landing sound of quality of a dragonfly's wings striking the surface of the water.

It Allows for a Quiet Water Landing

Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Chatterbaits, Rubber jigs, and Swim jigs, all of these baits can be made to land silently by increasing skirt volume. But, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits are suitable for this method of fishing, considering ease of attracting fish after landing on the water.

The size and weight of the spinnerbait's blades also affect the sound of the water landing. If fish you are targeting are wary and smart, I recommend a small No.2, No.3, or No.3.5 Colorado blade, focusing on muffling the sound of the spinnerbait landing. At the size and weight of a No.4 Colorado blade, the sound of the blade hitting the surface of the water is a concern.

As this willow leaf blade gets bigger and heavier, it hits the water surface harder.
To make your lure land as quietly as possible, you’ll need to choose smaller blades. However, a large, light plastic blade may not hit the water surface as hard. However, I have never used plastic blades that spin well.

Can Also Make a Good Sound

Method 1.
Cast the lure low and apply the brake so that the momentum is completely stopped by thumb braking. If you relax your arms just before landing on the water, the rod will pull in and the lure will weakly hit the surface of the water, making a good sound.

Method 2.
Cast the lure low and apply a thumb braking to slow down the lure.  Then, just before landing the lure, loosen the thumb braking and tap the lure weakly on the surface of the water to make a good sound.

The key to doing these things is to avoid casting the lure with a parabolic high trajectory. Doing so can create a sound like a soft creature landing on the water, which normal lures cannot produce.
I believe this is because the large amount of skirts, which are highly buoyant, act as a cushion and reduce sound and impact when landing on the water.

To Get the Best Performance Out of this Lure

No matter how many "lures that can land on the water quietly" used if cannot cast the lure at the appropriate trajectory or cannot adjust the speed by using a thumb braking, will not be able to use this lure to its full potential.

"Quietly landing lure on the surface" is also one of the important elements of this method. So, need to practice diligently, using tackle set up in a way that makes it easy to cast. Wouldn't you like to catch a smart bass you can see a few meters away in clear water without using plastic worms?
Oh yes, I forgot to mention, this is not bed fishing.
